Sorry, we do not take credit cards.
We offer two methods of making purchases:
1.) COD. We can ship anywhere and have UPS or Federal
Express pick up a Cashier's Check or Money Order. COD
costs more because of the check handling and paperwork
but it is the fastest way to get something.
2.) Prepaid. If you send in a check, we will send out the
items. Personal checks are OK.
Please include a telephone number or e-mail address along
with your order in case we need to reach you about rates,
prices, etc.
It is best to check with us regarding Next Day Air, 2nd
Day Air, etc. so we can determine the shipping costs. Shipping Methodfbb
We use UPS ground or Federal
Express whenever possible. We can ship UPS Next Day Air,
etc. Of course the shipping costs more. Please be sure to
give us your street address and allow sufficient funds
for shipping charges and insurance.* We can also use the
US Mail Services and others if it is specified in the
order (and possible).

Express do not deliver to Post Office boxes.
Dealer and Export Prices
Please send us a request on your
company letterhead and enclose a copy of your state
resale certificate.
Limited Warrantyugxcc
Viking Systems International warrants that our equipment
will be free from defects in workmanship and materials
for a period of one year from date of shipment. If it is
determined by us that the equipment has failed because of
faulty workmanship and/or materials, the equipment will
be repaired or replaced (at our option) free of charge,
and the equipment returned to the customer at our
expense, via surface transportation.
Defects caused by misuse, abuse, accidents,
modifications, negligence, failure to read and adhere to
operating instructions, repairs or attempts at repairs,
lack of or improper routine maintenance and other causes
beyond the control of Viking Systems International are
not covered by this warranty. Batteries and/or damage
caused by faulty or leaking batteries are not covered in
this warranty.

IF THE CUSTOMER
REMOVES THE WARRANTY LABEL FROM THE EQUIPMENT, THE
WARRANTY WILL BE NULL AND VOID.
There are no warranties that extend beyond the
description herein, either as to the merchantability, or
fitness for a particular purpose. Viking Systems
International's sole and exclusive obligation under the
terms of this warranty is to repair or replace the
equipment that has failed because of faulty materials or
workmanship. Viking Systems International assumes no
liability for damages to persons or property, or for
consequential damages or loss of goodwill, production or
income resulting from the use or misuse or inability to
use the equipment by purchaser or others.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
consequential damages, so the above limitations or
exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights and you may also have other rights
that vary from state to state.
California Taxes jee
California residents must pay state sales tax of 8.5%.
Items bought for resale are not taxed but the order must
have a state resale certificate number accompanying it or
be an order to an open account with a business that sells
these products.
Privacy Policyw
We continue to decline requests to sell our customer list
since we are not interested in the proliferation of spam,
junk mail, etc. For similar reasons we do not have a data
entry system on the web. We do offer a sample order page
that you can print out and use. Most orders are simple
and can be written on a piece of paper as long as you
have an address, the item you want and the amount
correctly written.
Repair Policydff
If you send us any equipment for repair; please contact
us by phone or e-mail to obtain a Return Authorization (RA)
number. The RA number is necessary to expedite the
processing of repairs and must be shown PROMINENTLY on
the outside of the package. Your name and address on the
inside along with a brief description of what is wrong
with the equipment is a good idea too.
Repairs are normally performed the SAME DAY the equipment
is received.
Equipment without an RA number will not be accepted.
Return Policyxegg
Numerous letters of praise from customers will attest to
the fact that we stand behind our products and will go to
great lengths to make and keep happy customers.
In addition to the information in our catalog and web
page, we will be happy to send potential customers
printed application information for the more popular
equipment. If more information is required, you may call
and talk with our service technicians.
Once a customer has reviewed all of the information we
provide and places an order, we must assume that the
customer has determined that a particular piece of
equipment is EXACTLY what is needed.

We will give you our best advice, but cannot assume
responsibility for "situations" caused by those
customers who disregard part or all of our advice or who
withhold relevant details of their application. Therefore
technical support is offered with the express
understanding that such support does not invalidate the
terms of the warranty with respect to the provisions
regarding merchantability and/or fitness for a particular
purpose.

Additionally, sometimes "situations" occur
where a customer decides to perform "elective
surgery" on a piece of equipment, or where there is
a typical "one-day need" for a recorder or bug
detector, etc. Experience has taught us that under those
conditions, some unscrupulous individuals will resort to
a variety of "creative" efforts and stories to
"find fault" with perfectly good equipment for
the express purpose of obtaining credit or a refund after
it has been used.
Because of those "situations" our return policy
is simple:
