TA 2000 Telephone Recording Interface with Audio Compression
for a single telephone line & recorder (VOX not required).

The TA 2000 was originally designed for law enforcement applications where ultra-reliable operation is required, even with very weak audio from a distant party.
The TA 2000 features an extremely high input impedance and total galvanic isolation between the telephone line and the recorder for hum free recordings. Advanced audio compression technology is used to keep a CONSTANT RECORDING LEVEL, even when the distant party whispers and the local party talks very loudly.
The TA 2000 plugs into the "remote" & "aux-in" jacks of the recorder. When the line goes off-hook, the recorder will start recording: when the telephone is hung up, the recorder will stop. It will activate whenever ANY extension on the same line is used. No VOX is required.
The TA 2000 is housed in a heavy-duty metal case and powered by an AC adapter (supplied).
