The TT-07 Wiretap Detector is designed to quickly and easily check a single line telephone system for on-premise parallel and series wiretaps and bugs. In addition, the TT-07 will detect the most common types of hookswitch bypasses (a telephone modification that picks up the room's audio when the phone is hung up and sends it down the phone line to a tape recorder or listening post).

NOTE: Both the TT-07 and the TT-46 are pieces of TEST equipment. Do NOT confuse them with "magic detection boxes" that are plugged into your telephone line during calls and purportedly alert you of taps. Such "magic boxes" of the $49.95 variety will ONLY detect that another telephone is picked up on the same line.
